The Marketing Evolution Of the Century

This is a speech by one of my favourite bloggers, Seth Godin (http://sethgodin.typepad.com) at TED (http://www.ted.com). TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. It
started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from
those three worlds. Since then its scope has become ever broader. The annual conference now brings together the world’s most fascinating
thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives.

Seth in his talk described what I would term the evolution of marketing. This is something that I believe many of us take for granted day to day. TV ads and radio ads were new, then they were proven and they were very effective. As the world evolves with the power of the internet and web 2.0. We are doing things they would not have done 5 years ago, new things are becoming common place.   If you don’t look to evolve too, you would end up a casualty of evolution.
