This is something that party people in Toronto have been discussing for a long time. When you live in the Caribbean Diaspora, you live amongset person who call all nations of the world "home". It makes you curious about seeing these places as they really are. My father did a two-week cruise of the Caribbean when he graduated teacher's college in the 60's. (It wasn't a luxury liner...but he got to see the region for himself. Few of us ever do. He still speaks about it today. Experiences like these can change a person forever...

yeah, that was something i was thinking about and talking. There is alot being packed into cruises in terms of entertainment, all kinds of foods etc. Maybe the cost of the actual cruise. I was thinking that costs might be greatly reduced by taking away alot of the on board luxuries. Since the luxury is now on shore. In terms of students affording it...Its not so much of a fad in Caribbean Universities but in North America and esp. Europe. there are alot of trips planned during the vacations and the students raise money to take the trips.

Yow, this is awesome!!!! It brings all the best events in the region together in one package that's sure to be wild. After reading this though, my one question is cost...How much will this awesome package dip into my pocket, because honestly if you are targeting Caribbean students, the average student, though supported by parents at school, don't have large disposable incomes. Added to which, unless your parents are like seriously loaded, you won't get even as close as a glimpse at the ship. But I like the idea. It shows a kind innovation that's necessary in this region.
