Cradle 2 Cradle

I watched this video some weeks ago of Green-minded architect and designer William McDonough presenting the Cradle 2 Cradle concept at TED conference. The Cradle 2 Cradle idea has really stuck with me and impacted me over the last few weeks.

Basically the idea is that the stuff we make and use (e.g. plastics) should be designed in such a way that they biodegrade and be part of an infinate cycle which is in harmony with the environment in which we live.

To use his words -

"There is no end game there is an infinate game"

"Our goals is a delightfully diverse, safe, healthy and Just world, with clean air, water, soil and power – economically, equitably, ecologically and elegantly enjoyed."
