All in all,the show turned out well. Most people seem to think it was just ok – not necessarily like they were blown away, but not a waste of money.
I enjoyed it, It was my first time taking photos in a while, well in Barbados that is. I was a little rusty but the love for photography is still there. The performances were generally good also. It was T.O.K. and Baby Cham that really took the fete to another level.
I didn’t get to spend as much time backstage as I would have liked because i ended up stuck in the VIP area for almost an hour, because there were people crowding around the door.
All in all though its just the second year for this event and its looking very promising, connecting with the target market and branding is definately there. The numbers are attending the event. They were no major problems that would deter people from going back again a second year. I am sure in coming years that the Barbados Reggae Festival package would have big appeal to reggae lovers worldwide
